Lettings Waltham Forest (LWF) are Waltham Forest Council’s in-house letting agency offering private properties to key workers and working professionals.

If you are a private landlord and would like to achieve market rents on your property, LWF can provide you a free market valuation.

We currently work with Barts NHS as well as other essential services to find accommodation for key workers. We require properties of all sizes within Waltham Forest and its surrounding areas.

Keyworkers prioritised

All keyworkers applications for a property we have available to rent will be automatically prioritised.

Comprehensive reference checks

A full credit check, previous/current landlord and employment reference is carried out on all applicants prior to offering them a property.

Range of services

You can choose from three different levels of services, depending on how much involvement you want in the tenancy. We offer the following services:

• Let Only: We will find you a suitable tenant and prepare all the tenancy documents for you
• Rent Collection: We provide the ‘Let Only’ service and also collect the rent on a monthly basis and deal with any arrears
• Full Management: We provide the ‘Rent Collection’ service and also manage maintenance and repairs, carry out quarterly inspections plus more

Free-rent insurance

All properties under our full management service will be provided with a free zero-excess rent insurance policy.

Free photographic inventory

All properties under our full management service will be provided with a detailed photographic inventory.

Repairs and Maintenance

Our in-house contractors or panel of sub-contractors will be able to carry out any level of repair and maintenance on your property.
