Covid-19
It’s never too late – get your first, second or booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at local walk-in clinics.
Buildings and structures can show signs of collapsing, while materials like timber, masonry or tiles may fall from them. This is dangerous and should be reported.
If you think a structure is dangerous, phone us on 020 8496 3000 and:
If you think the building or structure is defective, but not dangerous, you can tell us by completing our online form.
The owner must pay for any work we do to remove the risk.
After we get your report, a surveyor will visit the site to assess the danger and any risks.
If the structure is not dangerous, we'll ask the owner to remove the risk in 14 to 28 days.
If the owner doesn’t remove the risk, we can get a court order requiring them to do so.
If they don't comply with the order, we’ll carry out the work ourselves.
If you don't have a computer, you can use a self-service PC at any library in Waltham Forest to log your request/report.
Staff there can help you to log in and create a MyAccount.
