Your Future, Your Choice Post 16 options e-brochure is designed to support students in year 11, on 1 year courses in year 12, and parents and carers, with post 16 options for 2024.

Whether you are in Year 9 and thinking about your GCSE choices, in Year 11 and starting to think about your next step after GCSEs, or on a year course and looking at what options are open to you next we hope this brochure helps you understand all the options that are open to you. It tells you all about the options available to you in Waltham Forest.

Whether you want to go on to A Levels, do a vocational course, start an apprenticeship, or take up a traineeship, from bricklaying to music, hairdressing to medical science there is something in Waltham Forest for you. Each school or college sixth form has its own application process, either via its website or a specific form, so make sure to check each school’s individual page in this brochure. We strongly encourage you to attend open days so that you can see the facilities and meet the teachers.

Whatever you are thinking of doing next it is important to spend time discussing with the adults around you, your teachers, family, carers, to decide what will be right for you. You can get support from your school and college Careers team.
