Being a governor gives you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Governors are unpaid volunteers that use and develop their skills/ knowledge in a board-level environment.
In accordance with the Governors Competency Framework, all schools, regardless of sector, need governing boards. They must have a diversity of knowledge, skills, and experience to enable it to be effective.
