Parents and carers throughout Waltham Forest may be eligible to benefit from a free holiday clubs programme for children and young people during school holidays.
The government’s Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) enables children and young people to get involved in wide range of fun activities and holiday clubs and enjoy a daily meal during their summer holidays.
The local programme is available only for those children who are eligible for benefits related free school meals.
Booking is essential on all activities so book early to avoid disappointment. Places are limited for children to attend 2 weeks over the space of the summer across all activities. If more than 2 weeks are booked by the same child the additional weeks will be cancelled.
All activities are inclusive of children with SEN and/or disabilities; however if your child does have additional needs, please contact us on 020 8496 4720 before booking so we can ensure the provider can meet the needs of your child.

The programme will be a series of sessions and activities that will provide young people with a space to discuss VAWG related issues such as, misogyny, unrealistic or negative gender stereotypes and expectations.
The VAWG Summer programme is for secondary schools students and is continuation of the ground breaking VAWG schools work that has been taking place in the borough throughout this past year.
