Family Sessions for 5 to 11 years

This Easter we will be running a range of free family activities across the borough between 10am to 12:30am daily from Monday 7 to Thursday 17 April 2025.

• Whitehall Primary School, Normanton Park entrance, E4 6ES
• George Tomlinson Primary School, Harrington Road entrance, E11 4QN

All sessions are led by Waltham Forest Play Workers, with specialist workshops provided by professionals from a variety of local organisations including circus skills, face painting, slime workshops, nerf games, multisports, and many more.

Activities that are provided throughout these sessions are suitable and designed for children aged 5 to 11.  Children aged 5 to 7 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the sessions. Children aged 8 to 11 may attend the session independently, however, a parent, guardian, or care must attend the first sessions to complete the relevant paperwork. 

Family sessions are limited and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

Join us for our send only stay and play family sessions for children aged 5 to11 who live or go to school in London borough of Waltham Forest. 

Running from 1:30pm to 4pm Sessions will provide a more relaxed and quieter space.

• Wednesday 16 April- Barn Croft Primary School, 2 Brunel Rd, London E17 8SB

Activities will be tailored to support the needs of children with additional needs and their families. A parent and carer will be required to stay with their child during the session. Siblings are welcome to join but will also need to be booked. 

Come and join the play bus at a park near you. For messy play, songs, board games and much more.

Look out for banners outside of the parks.
