If you apply for a secondary school place by the deadline of 31 October 2026, you will receive your offer on 1 March 2027 after 5pm. This is known as National Offer Day.
You’ll receive your offer by:
- email if you applied online
- in the post if you made a paper application
Please note: Admission outcomes will not be given over the telephone. Please check your email or your online account.
If you apply after 31 October 2026, your application will be processed after 1 March 2027.
You can check how places are allocated on 1 March 2027. This includes schools that:
- are full, with their cut-off distances
- still have places
Accepting your offer
You must accept the school place offered through your online eAdmissions account by 15 March 2027. After this date, you will need to email your acceptance to admissions@walthamforest.gov.uk

Requesting a different school
If you’ve been offered a place but see a school with available places that better suit your child’s needs, email us at: admissions@walthamforest.gov.uk
We’ll try to help, but we cannot guarantee a place at a specific school.
Waiting lists
Your child’s name will be automatically added to the waiting list for any higher-ranked Waltham Forest schools that we couldn’t offer.
