Apply for primary school

If your child is currently in Year 2 at Chapel End Infant School or St Joseph’s Infant School you will need to apply for a transfer to the junior school.  You will also need to apply if your child is currently in year 2 in an infant school outside of Waltham Forest.

You can apply for a year 3 place in the junior school online from 1 September 2024 through the eAdmissions website.  The closing date for applications is 11.59pm on 15 January 2025. If you make your application by the closing date, and have applied online, you will receive an email in the evening of 16 April 2025 with the outcome of your application. You can accept or decline the school place offered online through the eAdmissions website.

If you cannot apply online or you are applying after 15 January 2025, please complete the Junior Application form (PDF) to make your application. If you apply after 15 January 2025 your application will be considered late and will be processed after 16 April 2025. 

For paper applications received by 15 January 2025, a letter will be posted to you by first class post on 16 April 2025 with the outcome of your application. If you apply after 15 January, your application will be processed after 16 April 2025, and you will receive your outcome by post.  The letter you receive will let you know how you can accept or decline the school place offered.
