Ask us to erase your data

You can use a Subject Erasure Request (SER) to ask us to remove your personal data. This ‘right to be forgotten’ only applies under certain circumstances.

For example, you don’t consent to us keeping and processing your data and:

  • we no longer need your data for the reason we collected it
  • you no longer consent to us having data you consented to before
  • we’re using it to send you marketing communications, but you’ve asked us not to
  • we must erase it to comply with a legal obligation

Under law, there are exceptions where we cannot erase your personal data. For example, if we have a legal obligation, or require it to carry out an official task.

See the right to erasure

page on the ICO website to find out more.
