Autism acceptance and neurodiversity awareness week

We're working to make Waltham Forest more Autism Friendly. We aim to change the narrative to understand, accept and celebrate neurodiversity. We also aim to ensure autistic and neurodiverse people feel welcome and supported in the borough.

World Autism Acceptance Week runs from 27 March to 2 April.

This year we have some exciting and inclusive events to celebrate our autistic and neurodiverse residents. We will also be sharing information on how you can improve your understanding of neurodiversity.
