Your black bin for general waste is collected on a fortnightly basis, and the alternate week to your brown bin
Your brown bin for garden waste is collected on a fortnightly basis, on the alternate week to your black bin.
Your green bin for recycling is collected weekly.
Your brown outdoor food waste caddy is collected weekly as well.
On the scheduled collection day, bins and the caddies are scheduled to be emptied between 5am and 10pm.
If you live in a kerbside property your black and brown wheeled bins are now collected on alternate weeks.
This means you will only need to present either your brown garden waste or black bin refuse bin for collection, depending on your collection schedule.
Recycling and food waste collections continue to be collected weekly, but your collection day may have changed.

We will not empty your bin or caddy if it:
The bin and caddy will be placed back to within the boundary of your property following the collection.
If your property has no space to store wheelie bins at the front boundary, and you are not covered by a Communal Collection, please see the section "Refuse and Recycling in Sacks" below.
All black, green and grey communal bins are scheduled to be collected weekly from the agreed collection point.
On collection day, bins are scheduled to be emptied between 5am and 10pm.
If you live in a flat above a shop, or other property with no space to store wheelie bins at the front boundary, and are on selected roads in the borough you must place your refuse sacks and green recycling sacks outside on the public highway in the mornings between 6am and 9am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Your waste and green recycling sacks will be collected by 11am on either Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
Five roads also receive additional evening collections, you must place your refuse sacks and green recycling sacks outside on the public highway between 9pm and 11pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday where the waste and recycling sacks will be collected by 1am the following day. These roads are:
Any household waste or recycling placed out onto the public highway outside of this time-banding is unauthorised and may result in a Fixed Penalty Notice being issued.
If you live in a flat above a shop, or other property with no space to store wheelie bins at the front boundary, but do not live on one of selected roads then you will need to present your refuse and recycling waste in sacks by 5am on the same day as the wheelie bins are collected on your road. The sacks must be presented on the public highway immediately outside your property or agreed collection location.
Residents must not dispose of household waste in public litter bins.
In the UK it is illegal and regarded as a form of fly-tipping.
Public litter bins are for disposing of small amounts of general rubbish and waste while you are out in public places to keep areas clean and tidy, and not for quantities of waste generated at home.
