London Borough of Culture

In 2019, Waltham Forest was the Mayor of London’s first ever London Borough of Culture. This special year saw the entire borough come alive with amazing events. We even hosted a one-off appearance by Blur, led by Damon Albarn, who spent many years in Leytonstone!
