It’s never too late – get your first, second or booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at local walk-in clinics.
Apprenticeships are paid programmes that allow you to earn while you learn. Combining working and gaining formal qualification, usually one day a week at a college or training centre, is a brilliant way to progress your career.
There are currently over 190 career paths available for apprenticeships, in industries including accountancy, business, law, tourism, retail, media and IT.
To apply for an apprenticeship you must be over 16, living in England and not in full time education.
You may have also heard about the Kickstart Scheme which provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
To access these opportunities, you will need to go through your Jobs Centre Plus work coach.
