St Mary’s Church is part of the Church of England and the oldest building in Walthamstow. They hold services on Sundays at 9am and 10:30am and on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. They have groups for children and young people on Sundays.

On alternate Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings from 10am to 12pm, they host the Walthamstow Welcomes Cafe in the church hall opposite the Church at the Welcome Centre. The cafe is a warm and friendly space where volunteers are on hand to give support with form filling, registering for services or getting online. They are not an advice service, but they are able to signpost to services across the borough and beyond.

On Thursdays at 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Food Cycle offers delicious 3 course dinners, helping them to build community and reduce food waste.

As part of their Heritage Lottery Funded building project, they have a range of arts, heritage, and wildlife events for all ages. Details on their website and social media.
