The Hornbeam is a community organisation promoting low-cost, low-impact living in the Waltham Forest area. Named after the locally renowned hornbeam tree, the Hornbeam hosts a variety of projects including:

developing a borough-wide Waltham Forest Food Partnership

hosting a community café run by The Gleaners (Thursday-Saturday, 11am to 3pm)

a free community meal called The People's Kitchen (Tuesdays 10am to 2pm)

providing space and support for community-led action and initiatives which lead to positive environmental and social change

Digital Access at The Skills Within Community Living Room
The Skills Within are offering a free, welcoming, and safe space for people to sit, rest, and socialise and enjoy a free healthy hot meal and refreshments. Alongside, there are computers available to use and volunteers offering digital skills support.
