elop is an award-winning LGBT Mental Health and Wellbeing Charity supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans+ (LGBT+) communities in Greater London and adjoining Essex borders since 1995.

elop offer a range of LGBT+ specialist mental health support, advice, information, counselling, and well being support with a wide range of community connection services for LGBT+ communities including events, activities and social support groups, delivered by LGBT+ people. elop also provide support and social support groups for young LGBT+ people.

elop provides LGBT+ voice, consultation, awareness raising, and dedicated LGBT+ education programs and training services with our Foundation Certificate in LGBT Affirmative therapy, various CPD courses and bespoke training design around LGBT+ inclusivity.

our current Wellbeing groups and activities include: 

  • LGBT+ Asylum support group: weekly, every Thursday 3.15pm to 5.15pm.
  • LGBT+ Social support group: weekly, every Tuesday 6pm to 8pm
  • LGBT+ 50+ Social meet-up: weekly, every Tuesday 4pm to 5.45pm
  • LGBT+ Rainbow families meet-up: monthly, every fourth Sunday 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Our current Youth out east service for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults includes:

  • Under 25s LGBTQ+ youth mentoring: varied individual times
  • 12 to 15s LGBTQ+ youth group: weekly, every Tuesday 4.30pm to 6.30pm
  • 15 to 18s LGBTQ+ youth group: weekly, every Tuesday 7pm to 9pm
  • 18 to 25s LGBTQ+ young adults meet-up:  every Thursday  7pm to 9pm

Our current HeadsOut mental health support & crisis prevention service includes:

  • ReCharge: LGBT+ Mental health peer support group: weekly, every Monday  10.30am to 12.30pm
  • Re-Claim: LGBT+ Women’s support group for those who have experienced domestic or sexual violence or abuse: please contact us for more information
  • Imago: Trans and Non-Binary+ Mental Health support group for all gender non-conforming people: weekly, every Wednesday 7pm to 8.30pm
  • ReBuild:  LGBTQ+ asylum 6-week mental health plan and group support: Tuesdays, online, 11am to1pm
  • ReConnect: LGBTQ+ friendship support & social activities programme: every Monday 3.15pm to 5.15pm, 
  • LGBT+ Safety & Mental Health Plans: varied individual times

  • Low-cost LGBT+ individual counselling
  • Low-cost LGBT+ relationship couples counselling
