It is a statutory requirement for a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) to be developed and published every 3 years (or sooner where major changes have occurred) for each area covered by Health and Wellbeing Board.
PNA is used to plan for the commissioning of pharmaceutical services and make decisions regarding new pharmacy applications or planned changes to existing pharmacy provision.
The most recent Waltham Forest PNA report (PDF) was approved by the Health and Wellbeing Board in March 2018.
