Recent research has shown that the mental health of young people has declined especially over the pandemic. In 2020, one in six (16.0%) children aged 5 to 16 years were identified as having a mental disorder. 

Our campaign offers five steps we can all take to boost our personal wellbeing and prevent mental health problems, especially during difficult times.

These actions are:

  • Feeling connected
  • Keep learning
  • Being active
  • Taking notice
  • Volunteering/ giving back to the community
