Careers guidance appointments for 16 and 17 year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET)

The 16 to 17 Participation Service offers one to one personal careers guidance with a level 6 qualified careers adviser.

Appointments are available every Thursday at Leyton Library from 10.00am to 4.00pm

Your adviser will work with you to find what kind of support you need. This could include:

• One-to-one careers guidance to help you plan your next steps
• Details on open days
• Details on vacancies 
• Support with applying to college
• Help with applying to jobs
• Help with writing a CV
• How to search for an apprenticeship or job
• Interview practice

Who is eligible for support

• Aged 16 to 17
• Not in employment, education, training (NEET)
