Coroner's Court

The building for East London Coroner's Court will be closed from Monday 22 December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.

There will be no service on Christmas day Thursday 25 December 2025, Boxing day Friday 26 December 2025 or New Years day Thursday 1 January 2026

 The East London Coroner covers five London Boroughs: Waltham Forest, Newham, Redbridge, Havering, and Barking and Dagenham.

The East London Coroner's Court at Queen's Road Walthamstow, E17 8QP is now reopen.

We are situated next door to the Walthamstow Cemetery.

There is limited parking at this court.

If parking is full the nearest parking facility is located at Walthamstow Leisure Centre (previously known as Kelmscott Leisure Centre) at:

243 Markhouse Road E17 8RN

This is a pay & display car park and is approximately an 5 minute walk to the Coroner's Office. 

Please note that the court is not appropriate for babies and children.
