We know that crime and community safety is one of the top concerns for our residents. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighbourhood, and we are working together with the Met Police, community partners and local people to reduce crime, tackle anti-social behaviour and create safer streets. Through initiatives like the Citizens’ Assembly and community safety public webinars, we’re listening directly to residents’ experiences, and turning feedback into action.
From working with local businesses to create safe spaces, using resident and officer intelligence to expand our CCTV coverage, providing specialist support for women and girls, and co-producing our youth services with young people and supporting community-led initiatives, we’re working together to build a borough where everyone feels secure, respected, and confident in their community.
