The London Borough of Waltham Forest is home to a vibrant Tamil community, renowned for its rich culture, traditions, and language.
In celebration of Tamil Heritage Month 2025, the Federation of Tamil Organisations in Waltham Forest, comprising seven Community based local organisations, is collaborating with the Waltham Forest Council to host a series of exciting events.
These events will showcase the beauty and diversity of Tamil culture, Tamil Identity, honouring its heritage and contributions to both the local community and beyond. Join us for a series of memorable experiences this January!
Tamil Heritage Month in Waltham Forest is an opportunity to celebrate the Tamil community’s rich culture. These events aim to share the beauty and traditions of Tamil culture with the wider community, promoting understanding, diversity, and unity.
Whether you are Tamil or from another background, these celebrations offer an engaging and educational experience for all ages. Tamil Heritage Month aims to strengthen our relationships within the borough and continue to include Tamil Heritage Month on annual calendar, to be marked and celebrated every January.
