Waste

There will be changes to bin collection days during Christmas week as shown in the table below. Collections will continue as normal during New Year's Week – please leave your bins to be collected on your usual day.

South Chingford Community Library: Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 10am to 4pm

Contact centre

The Contact Centre will be closed from Saturday 24 to Tuesday 27 December and then again from Saturday 31 December to Monday 2 January 2023.

Fellowship Square cafe

The Fellowship Foods café will close permanently from Thursday 22 December.

We are currently exploring options with a range of suppliers to establish a new high-quality long-term offer that meets the needs of customers, a new café will open in 2023.

Museums and galleries

William Morris Gallery

Over the Christmas holidays the William Morris Gallery is open until 4pm on Saturday 24 December. It will be closed between Sunday 25 and Tuesday 27 December. It will reopen on Wednesday 28 December until 4pm on Saturday 31 December. It will then be closed until Tuesday 3 January 2023.

Vestry House Museum

Vestry House Museum will close at 5pm on Friday 23 December and reopen on Wednesday 4 January 2023.
