The Council and Police have worked together to produce a set of community safety briefings, which will now be released regularly throughout the year. These briefings are in direct response to a recommendation from our Citizens’ Assembly on Neighbourhood Policing, and contain highlights of some of the work we have carried out over the last month.

There are three separate briefings: North, Central and South. Each includes the following wards:

• North covers Chingford Green, Endlebury, Hale End and Highams Park South, Hatch Lane and Highams Park North, Larkswood and Valley

• Central covers High Street, St James, Hoe Street, William Morris, Markhouse, Lea Bridge, Chapel End, Higham Hill, Upper Walthamstow and Wood Street.

• South covers Cann Hall, Cathall, Forest, Grove Green, Leyton and Leytonstone.

Read the NORTH (Chingford, Higham's Park) briefing.

Read the CENTRAL (Walthamstow) briefing.

Read the SOUTH (Leyton, Leytonstone) briefing.
