Gain practical maths skills for free with our new Multiply programme
Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service has launched its Skills for Life Multiply programme. This a free initiative to improve adult numeracy in the UK. Waltham Forest residents can join free courses, training, and events to learn everyday maths skills.
Multiply can help boost your numeracy skills for work, budgeting, shopping, and more. You could gain job-ready numeracy skills and qualifications, learn how to support children with their maths homework, and have fun learning maths by playing games like chess.
Want to take part? You can join Multiply if you are a Waltham Forest resident, aged 19 or older, and you do not have GCSE maths at grade C (or equivalent). The programme is for complete beginners as well as confident learners.
The Multiply programme also includes support for local businesses. We can customise a training plan to help you and your staff learn job-specific maths or gain formal qualifications.
Find out if Multiply is right for you: come along to the Multiply event on Wednesday 29 March 2023 at Walthamstow Central Library. From 10am to 3pm, you can drop by for talks, activities, games and information about Multiply.
