Christmas presents
Published: Thursday 12 December
Filed under: Families, young people and children

Every year the Council works with donors to collect gifts for our children in need and care-experienced young people, so they know they’re remembered at Christmas. Unfortunately, this year's donor is now no longer able to collect gifts, so we urgently need your help.

Can you help us make sure every child gets a gift this Christmas? We’re looking for 700 new gifts for children and young people of all ages from 0 to 25. For those who’d like to donate but can’t give a gift, you can make a donation via an online collection which will be used to buy £10 gift cards for each child.

Where to drop off your gifts

If you have any unused children’s gifts which you’re happy to donate, there are drop-off locations across the borough, at:

  • Library receptions
  • Family Hub receptions

Or, if you would prefer to order something online, please address it to:

Children in Need Christmas Appeal
BIPC Room
Leytonstone Library
6 Church Lane
Leytonstone
E11 1HG

To make sure presents get to children in time, please donate what you can by Friday 20 December.

More information

If you have any questions, or if you are a local business interested in supporting the appeal, please email: mayor@walthamforest.gov.uk.

We thank the amazing Waltham Forest community for anything they can give to help ensure every child is remembered this Christmas.
