We monitor young people living in the borough from when they leave Year 11 until the end of Year 13. This helps us understand whether young people are in education, employment or training.
We usually receive this information from schools and colleges. Sometimes, we may contact young people or their families directly. This could be by letter, phone call, text message, email or, in some cases, a home visit.
We may ask for information such as:
- where you are studying or working
- what course, training or job you are doing
This helps us keep our records up to date and make sure you know about any help or support that may be available to you during your post‑16 journey.
