Infant to Junior transfer

Find out how to apply for a junior school place when your child moved from infant to junior school.

You must apply for a transfer to a Year 3 place through eAdmissions if your child is in Year 2 and attends:  

  • Chapel End Infant School
  • St Joseph’s Infant School
  • an infant school outside Waltham Forest 

You must apply by 15 January to be informed of the outcome by 16 April. 

Late applications

You will need to complete the Junior Application form (PDF) if you cannot apply online or if you are applying after 15 January 2027.   

If you apply after 15 January 2027, your application will be considered late and will be processed after 16 April 2027.  

If you make a late application, you will receive your child’s school offer by post after 16 April 2027. The letter will give you information on how to accept or decline the school place offered.
