Coronation Square public space visitor guide

The council has invested nearly £30m in building Coronation Square and the nearby Feel Good Centre Too in Leyton. Together, they lie at the heart of a neighbourhood that contains 796 high-quality new homes alongside health facilities, a nursery, retail outlets, improved landscaping and lighting, and a public square.

The public square, known as Coronation Square, is easily accessible from Oliver Road. It features seating and greenery as well as a public fountain.

Here is some information about the space and fountains for visitors:

Fountains

The fountains will run to the following schedule over summer. The schedule will also be available on-site via information boards. We will post any changes to this page.

DayTimes
Monday to Friday

8am to 9am

Midday to 2pm

4pm to 6.30pm

Saturday to Sunday

10am to midday

4pm to 6.30pm

The fountains are maintained regularly. The water is treated with chlorine to keep it free from bacteria, with chlorine levels also checked regularly.

If you notice any issues with the fountains, such as malfunctioning jets or unusual noises, please report them directly to the concierge in person located at Pochard Heights or by contacting a member of the site team directly or email concierge@coronationsquare.net

Food and drink

There is currently no food or drink available at the square. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own, especially their own water during summer months. Please help us keep the square clean, take any litter with you or use the public bins around the area.

The nearest shop is located on Leyton High Road, a short walk away. Look out for new food and drink offerings in Coronation Square opening towards the end of the year.

The nearest free water fountains are located at:
