EDS is a charity that was set up by members of the deaf community on behalf of others within the deaf community. They provide services that are designed to meet the needs of the deaf community that reside in London.
EDS runs a wide variety of cultural events, including Eid celebrations, Diwali, Christmas, Easter, and Valentine’s Day. They organise trips throughout the year such as park visits and trips to the zoo. These events aim to build confidence and improve social relationships while having fun and trying something new!
They also offer a variety of other services, such as:
- British Sign Language courses
- Deaf Awareness Training
