Highams Park Food Aid or “The Hub” is a local food bank which supports the Chingford and Highams Park community. The Hub provides food and household essentials for individuals and families in the E4 area.
The Hub is only open to residents in the E4 area
- every Tuesday and Thursday,
- from 11 am to 1pm
At All Saints Church in Highams Park.
They host a free community living room café on Wednesdays 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Christians Against Poverty's aim is to put hope back into people's lives.
Jon is available every Wednesday at the Hub Café from 11:30 am to 2 pm to offer free advice. Just drop in for a chat and a cup of tea.

Youth provision
Creative Engagement Services are hosting a youth zone at Highams Park Hub as part of the Waltham Forest Space4All youth programme. These sessions are a safe space for young people to come and relax with friends. Sessions include creative media activities like podcasting and music production, gaming and chill zones, and access to opportunities such as mentoring and support.

Every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm
These sessions are for young people aged 11 to 16 years old.

Referral required and eligibility
Our food bank services are only available following referrals. All applications for food aid must be referred by a referee, they do not accept direct applications. A list of acceptable referees can be found on their website.
Everyone is welcome to the café, community living room and the church.
