The Chingford Mount Market is held on the last Saturday of each month in Albert Crescent, Chingford Mount, E4 6HS and is licensed by Waltham Forest Council.

Chingford Mount market will be open on dates to be announced.

It is run by E4 markets and includes a range of arts, crafts and food stalls.

E17 Designers Market Click to get info

E17 Designers Markets showcase good quality arts and crafts handmade by different groups and individuals from across the borough. 

The events provide a unique opportunity to show and sell their work locally. Art and craft disciplines represented include: jewellery; ceramics; fashion; printmaking; soft furnishings and accessories. 

Established in 2006, we usually run eight markets a year in various venues.

Leyton and Stone Designers is a group of designer/makers based in Leyton and Leytonstone. 

The group holds pop-up markets to promote members' work and support the craft and design community in our area. These markets are privately organised.

The Leyton Jubilee Park Market is hosted by The Creative Side of London.

The market is not run by Waltham Forest Council. The Creative Side of London hires the park and manages the market.

A range of affordable stalls including hot food, local produce, handmade goods and pre-loved items, as well as music, bouncy castle and other entertainment for children.

The market takes place behind KukooLaLa Cafe, Leyton Jubilee Park E10 7BL.

The St Andrew's Church Fairtrade Stall is doubling its opening hours from this weekend until Christmas.

It will now be open every Saturday and Sunday, 11.30am to 1.30pm, on Colworth Road, Leytonstone E11 1JD.

Please come along to purchase your Fairtrade groceries.  We have pasta, rice, teas, coffees, biscuits, spreads, nuts, dried fruits, chocolate and lots more, with plenty of vegan and gluten free products.

The Lloyd Park Market is held every Saturday, 10am to 4pm, at Lloyd Park Forest Road entrance, Walthamstow, E17 4PP.

It will also be open on Sundays, 10am to 4pm, with its hot food stalls only.

The market usually offers around 30 high quality food stalls, covering everything you need for a weekly produce shop, including: organic seasonal fruit and veg from local farmers, meat from an organic farm butcher and fresh fish from the fishmonger.

The Lloyd Park Market is particularly welcoming local and social enterprise traders as demonstrated through it's Local Trader Commitment.

Orford Road Market is held every Saturday from 11am outside of Waltham Forest Community Hub, 18a Orford Road, E17 9LN with a selection of the capital's best street food traders and artisan small batch produce vendors.

The market is run by Waltham Forest residents and businesses owners with a focus on supporting local homegrown businesses wherever possible.

It’s nestled in the heart of ‘The Village’ known and adored by locals for its period charm, independent shops, butcher, florist, delis and restaurants.

Sundays 10am to 2pm

The Walthamstow Farmers Market takes place every Sunday on Walthamstow High Street, next to the Town Square and the Mall, between 10am and 2pm.

Items including fresh bread, free range eggs, organic vegetables, cheese, poultry, succulent cooked sausages and plants are all on sale. This market is run by London Farmers’ Markets, for further information or to apply to trade on this market see London Farmers’ Market website.

Walthamstow Farmers’ Market is a popular place every Sunday with more than 20 traders selling everything from speciality breads, honey and preserves to fresh meat, game and vegetables.

The Walthamstow Sunday Social Market runs every Sunday from 10am to 4pm in Walthamstow High Street.

The market aims to provide experiential street market offerings, from talented street food vendors, start up brands and great entertainment.

The Town Centre is a licensed public entertainments facility and therefore subject to conditions imposed on the licence and the bylaws of the Council. The venue is designated primarily for the purpose of presenting entertainments that enhance the experience of shopping in Walthamstow.

The protocol contains information on how groups can obtain the permission of the Council to use stalls, tables or banners in Walthamstow Town Square in accordance with the Parks and Open Spaces general byelaws.

Wood Street Indoor Market Click to get info

After being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic Wood Street Indoor Market reopened on Tuesday 16 June 2020. Social distancing will be in place.

The former Crown Cinema in Wood Street, Walthamstow, has operated as a market since 1955, owned and ran by the same family since the early 1980s, with ownership and responsibility passing down through the generations.

The market, which has 30 trading units available, is open Tuesday to Saturday, 52 weeks a year, from 10am to 5.30pm.

There are several successful virtual High Streets in Waltham Forest providing residents with the chance to #ChooseLocalWF, support local independent businesses and all from the comfort of their own home.

A street trading licence may also be required if you are trading on a forecourt of a shop premises or wish to place tables and chairs on the highway outside your premises.

To apply please contact the Street Trading team for an application form.

A licence may not be granted when adverse comments are received from the consulted parties.

A licence will not be granted where there is a risk to road safety or possibility of a nuisance being created.

The Council may revoke a street trading licence after it has been granted. This may be for a variety of reasons such as: non compliance with conditions, non payment or because other agencies such as highways department require access to the trading location. You will be given at least 10 days notice if your consent is revoked.

The application form must be received at least seven days prior to the first date for which you are applying.

Please note that you can book no more than four weeks in advance in any one application.

If you don't have access to a computer, you can visit a Library Plus branch where you can use a self-service pc to log your request/report.  Staff are available to support you if you need it.​​​​​​​
