Support for victims of crime

Victim Support is there for you if you are or have been a victim of burglary, robbery, domestic violence, sexual assault, racial harassment or rape and need to speak to a trained volunteer in confidence.

Waltham Forest Victim Support provides:

• practical and emotional support for victims of crime in the immediate aftermath of victimisation
• information and assistance with benefits, missing pension books and other documents
• basic crime prevention information and referral to Crime Prevention Officers
• a comprehensive service of help with Criminal Injuries Compensation claims - from application to appeals
• escort to court, police station or solicitor
• specialist support for victims of rape and serious sexual assault
