Leyton Jubilee Park

Leyton Jubilee Park is our biggest park and was named to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Children and young people

The park has a fantastic play area, with a range of equipment for all ages, including a pirate ship.

Sports and fitness

  • An outdoor gym
  • Multi-use games area and football pitches

Other attractions

  • Pavilion: changing rooms and community room for hire (great for kid’s birthday parties and community activities)
  • Showground: Lots of space to enjoy the outdoors and for events
  • Nature areas: including Jubilee Wood on The Plateau, Woodland Walk and Dagenham Brook
  • Thousands of trees:  The park has a variety of species, including the central avenue of London Plane trees that’s over 100 years old!

Events and activities

Our Parks

Our Parks is a free fitness programme which takes place in parks across London. There are regular classes in Leyton Jubilee Park.

Sundays, 10-11am, Abs, Bums & Thighs. Meet by the children’s playground.

Tuesdays, 6.30-7.15pm, Rugby Fit. Meet by the children’s playground.

Free Nature Activities

We've got free nature activities for all from under 5s, to the Over 50s 'Sharing Nature' Group, family activities and adult walks/talks. For details, see our FacebookTwitter, or  Instagram

Green Gym, Thursdays: 9.45am to 1pm

Get fit, improve your local environment and make new friends. Volunteer activities include tree planting, woodland management and wildflower meadow maintenance. Wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing. Teas and snacks provided.

Entrances on Seymour Road, Marsh Lane, Orient Way, Ive Farm Lane

Tube: Leyton (Central line), 15 minutes’ walk.

Overground: Leyton Midland Road. 15 minutes’ walk.

Train: Nearest station is Lea Bridge, a 10-minute walk away

Bus: Many regular buses stop nearby, including the 58, 158, 48, 55, 56 and N158.

Car: The main car park is at the Marsh Lane entrance.  A small amount of on-street parking is also available.
