Have you been financially affected by COVID-19 pandemic?

Many private tenants have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. You may have been furloughed, required to work reduced hours, be temporarily out of work, experience financial hardship which may have impacted your ability to pay your rent.

If the answer to either of the questions below is yes; we may be able to help.

• Are you in receipt of partial or full Universal Credit and have been affected by the recent ending of the £20 uplift that households received during the pandemic?
   
• Have you received a Section 21 notice from your Landlord or Agent because you are struggling to pay your rent?

We can offer a range of incentives to help private tenants to sustain an existing tenancy to prevent a household from becoming homeless:

Incentives:

• Financial assistance for private tenants to help reduce rent arrears
• Financial assistance for private tenants to meet a temporary shortfall between their income and their rent
• Financial assistance to private tenants in the form of deposit and/or rent-in-advance to help them move to another privately rented home.
