Managing your estate

You rightly expect to live in a clean and safe environment and here’s some of the things we do to look after the communal areas of our estates. 

Caretaking and Grounds Maintenance

Our Teams work hard to keep our communal areas clean and tidy. Please find our service standards below, which outlines our team’s responsibilities and how frequently they will complete the assigned tasks: 

If there is something we need to improve on or we are not meeting our service standards, please contact the Caretaking and Grounds maintenance service. Please ensure you provide details of the issue (including location), your name, address and contact number.    

Estate inspections

Our estates are regularly inspected by the Place Officers, Surveyors and resident representatives. 

We really value residents being part of our estate inspections. So, if you are interested in taking part in one of these inspections, please register your interest by emailing the Place Team at placemanagement@walthamforest.gov.uk

Remember to include your name, estate, contact details and if you are a tenant or leaseholder.
