Grant funding for new affordable homes and regeneration works

We receive grant funding from the Greater London Authority (GLA) to help deliver new affordable homes, including regeneration projects across the borough. The GLA’s Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021-26 introduced a requirement for all partners, which the council is one, to advance equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in their own organisations and in the wider sector as a condition of the grant funding from the GLA.

Within a year of the grant funding being allocated, we must adhere to the following conditions: 

• meet the GLA’s five minimum equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) standards
• produce and publish an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan 

Our response to meeting both requirements is outlined in the GLA Investment Partner Action Plan below, which was submitted and approved by the GLA in May 2023.

In November 2024, we provided an update to the GLA on our progress against the May 2023 Action Plan and confirmed we are continuing to meet the original conditions.
