Kooth

Kooth is a free mental health and wellbeing platform that is commissioned by the NHS. They offer free online counselling, mental health services and wellbeing support to children and young people in Waltham Forest aged 10 to 25.

Kooth is here to help children and young people feel safe and confident in exploring their concerns and seeking professional support. 

On Kooth you will find:  

• Live text-based chat to talk to our Kooth counsellors about anything. 
• Articles written by both our professionals and users about experiences and top tips for self help.
• Discussion boards for all our Kooth community (including live discussion boards).
• Journaling space to record your thoughts and feelings to help reflect on your personal progress.

Kooth is accessible from any internet enabled device.

Referral required and eligibility

• No referral is required.
• Kooth is available to everyone aged 10 to 25 in Waltham Forest.
