Family Hubs
Our Family Hubs provide a wide range of information, activities and services in your local area including health, learning and play activities, childcare, family support, employment support, housing advice, money and benefits advice and much more.
We know that all families need support from time to time to look after their wellbeing and help their babies and children thrive.
Our Family Hubs are a place where families, friends and professionals can come together in a relaxed and friendly environment and support each other to achieve this.

Best Start in Life
Family Hubs activities for children aged 0 to 5 are part of Best Start in Life, a government-funded programme supporting Waltham Forest's parents and carers with their children’s growth.
You can find Best Start in Life services in all four Family Hubs and other community spaces throughout every neighbourhood in the borough.

Space4All Youth provision
Queens Road Family Hub is hosting events and activities as part of the Waltham Forest Space4All youth programme. The Space4All project sits within our Family Hubs programme, bringing key services to residents in their local neighbourhood. These sessions are a safe space for young people to come and relax with friends.
Every Wednesday from 4:15pm to 6:30pm
These free after-school sessions are part of the Space4All programme offering activities for young people in the borough. These sessions are suitable for young people aged 8 to 12 and are led by Treasure Me Kids. The sessions include sports, arts and crafts, homework club, cooking, and mentoring. All sessions offer warm healthy food.

Every Friday from 3pm to 6pm
These free sessions are part of the Space4All programme offering activities for young people in the borough. These sessions are suitable for young people aged 11 to 25 and are led by Lymore Gardens/LB Creative. Sessions include games, food, workshops, mentoring and free podcast making sessions. Come down and learn how to create your own podcasts!
No need to sign up for the sessions, just turn up.

Dash Dot Dance SEND Youth Provision
Queens Road Family Hub is hosting Dash Dot Dance, a fortnightly creative inclusive dance workshops for children and young people with SEND and their families. Explore, create and dance together!
Sessions take place fortnightly on Mondays and are split into two age groups:
Juniors Family Class - 5:15pm to 6pm
- Ages 7 to11
- A creative dance space for children, their carers, and siblings.
Seniors Class - 6:15pm to 7:15pm
- Ages 12 to 21
- Focused on contemporary dance through the IRIS syllabus, developed by Stopgap Dance Company.
Cost: £2.50 per session, free concession spaces available. This session is partly funded by the Council.

Young Carers Programme
A safe space providing the opportunity to meet up to chat or discuss what matters to you with staff and other young carers in Waltham Forest.
Accessible to young carers who are being supported by Children Social Care or Early Help 0 to 19 services.
Club sessions offering access to positive activities, workshops and training, freshly cooked healthy meals, offsite trips and more.
