Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 August, 11am to 5pm, £5
Join us for exciting workshops to create a collaborative digital and physical artwork inspired by Walthamstow whilst learning about 3D scanning.
Digital art collective Compiler and artist enorê are inviting you for exciting hands-on artist-led workshop sessions inspired by Fellowship Square and the unique creative identity of Walthamstow.
Using plasticine and 3D scanning, you will collaboratively reimagine Walthamstow and create an exciting digital and physical space exploring local heritage, communities, monuments, favourite places and locations.
In these family-friendly 1-hour sessions (for ages 5+), we will be designing Walthamstow-inspired objects and making sculptures using colourful plasticine. Learn about 3D scanning by creating a digital model of your plasticine sculpture and discover how to 3D scan things yourself using your phone. We will use 3D modelling software to place your creations on a virtual map of Walthamstow, contributing to growing collaborative artwork that will evolve over the course of the week. This will exist as a webpage where everyone’s creations can be viewed in an online 3D environment.
Join us to see how digital tools can help us playfully imagine a collective new vision of Walthamstow!
