Designed by local artist Jude Greenaway and creative producer Jessica Hudsley, SPECTRUM uses a series of stencil motifs and static colours to create a conversation, drawn in light, between seven significant buildings across Waltham Forest.

Taking place between Friday 3 December and Friday 28 January, each week a new colour will connect the buildings, carefully chosen to mark moments of significance across the winter period for our diverse communities. Patterns, curated by Greenaway & Greenaway, and designed around the themes of nature, astrology and the festive season will be projected onto the buildings and move from one to the other as the colours change.

SPECTRUM will bring light and colour to Waltham Forest landmarks during the darkest months, linking neighbourhoods and communities right across the borough. Follow us on Instagram @LBWFculture for updates as the project evolves.
