Saturday 6 May – from 10am to 4pm

The Coronation will be live streamed and played on a loop during the day. Coverage starts at 10.15am, with the procession expected to arrive shortly before 11am, at Westminster Abbey. Watch the live screening, along with friends and family, whilst enjoying some complimentary refreshments.

Everyone is welcome to bring their own picnic or sample our local street food market, hosted by Saturday Social, who will be here with a Coronation Special of tasty street food, delicious, sweet treats and local beer. Entry to the street food market is free.

You'll be able to enjoy the state of the art Fellowship Square Fountains, with its colourful displays, dancing along to the music.

Sunday 7 May – from 10am to 5pm

Local based enterprise Go East Vintage has curated a special Coronation themed flea market and will be hosting activities for the whole family. This includes entertainment, music, street food, a bar, and a coffee kiosk. Continue the Coronation celebrations and support our local enterprises, traders, and creators with Go East Vintage, who have hand-picked traders offering vintage and antique items.

Please note there will be a £2 per person, entrance fee for the market. Kids go free.

If you just want to take a stroll or grab a drink from Darling’s Café, the East pathway by Assembly Hall will be open.

Monday 8 May – from 11am to 5pm

As part of The Big Help Out we are hosting a community day. It will be a day to celebrate our local volunteers and organisations who have contributed so much to the lives of local residents over the past year. Communities will be sharing their culture, food, and stories. There will be cultural workshops and performances, family friendly activities, and more.
