This course is provided Free for people who live, work or study in Waltham Forest.  Run by Cycle Confident on behalf of Waltham Forest.

In this 1-day basic bike maintenance class, you'll learn how to keep a bike in good working order. Learn how to fix a puncture, adjust brakes, index gears and lubricate your chain correctly.

The course is for adults (18 years +). Young adults (16 +) are welcome to join if accompanied by a participating adult.

No previous experience required, however, all participants need to bring their own bike to work on.

We are asking for a £10 deposit, payable on booking, to minimise no-shows.  This will be refunded to anyone who attends once the session has taken place. We understand that financial circumstances differ, and we do not wish for the deposit to prevent anyone from participating. If this cost presents a challenge, please feel free to contact us in confidence. We will do our best to support you and ensure you’re able to attend.

For assistance or further information, please contact us via cycling@walthamforest.gov.uk .
