We use these tools to help us understand how people are using our online services and to identify ways we could improve them.

Aquia Optimize

We use Aquia Optimize (previously know as Monsido) to check our website for issues that may affect it. For example, accessibility errors, broken links, and spelling errors.  It works by scanning the publicly-accessible web pages on our site for issues. 

No personal information is collected by, shared with Acquia Optimize.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to find out what people do on our website and on GovService. For example, what they look at, how they use a webpage or form, and how long they spend on the site.

We process this information anonymously.

Google Translate

We use Google Translate to translate information on our website. 

When you use the tool, Google Translate captures information about:

• the web page you want translated and the language you want it translated into
• technical information about your web browser, and also about any errors that may have occurred whilst using it

No personal information is shared with Google Translate unless the page you were on contains personal data.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to collect data about how people use our website and GovService. This information helps us to improve our online services.

Microsoft Clarity captures information about:

• how you got to our site or online form
• the pages you visit or the forms you use and how long you spend on them
• any errors you see while using them
• any fields, links or buttons you click on

Any personal data you enter into a GovService form and what you search for on the website is masked by Clarity so it can't been seen and excluded from any reports it provides.

Microsoft is not allowed to use or share our analytics data with anyone.
