How do we collect information on our website users?

We use various tools to gather data on our website visitors.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to find out what people do on our website. For example, what they look at, how they use a webpage, and how long they spend on the site.

We process this information anonymously. We never try and out who is visiting our website, and don’t allow Google to either.

If we want to collect personal information from you, we’ll tell you first, and will explain why.

Hotjar

We use Hotjar, a website behaviour analytics company to better understand our users’ needs and experiences. This allows us to see how long people spend on which pages, the links they click, their likes and dislikes etc. We then use this feedback to improve our website.

Hotjar uses cookies and other methods to collect data on our website visitors. This includes:

  • IP address (captured and stored anonymously)
  • Device screen size
  • Device type
  • Browser information
  • The country you’re in

This information is never used to identify individual users or to match it with other data.

See Hotjar’s privacy policy to find out more.

If you don’t want Hotjar to collect this data you can opt-out.
