Community food hubs across the borough can help you access free or affordable food if you need it. Here are some of the key hubs the Council works closely with: 

  • Eat or Heat, Quaker House, 1a Jewel Road, London E17 4QU. South Chingford Congregational Church,161 Chingford Mount Road, E4 8LT, and The Salvation Army, 9 Southwell Grove Road, Leytonstone E11 4PP. 

  • Rukhsana Khan Foundation, William Morris Community Centre, 6-8 Greenleaf Road, London E17 6QQ 

  • Highams Park Food Hub, All Saints Church, Church Avenue, E4 9QD 

  • PL84U AL-SUFFA, Epicentre, 41 West Street, E11 4LJ 

  • Hornbeam, 58 Hoe Street, London, E17 9AH 

Some hubs may require a referral from a professional, such as a social worker or social housing officer. Each hub has its own process – find more information on their websites.
