If your vehicle has been stolen you’ll need to supply your police crime reference number.
If your vehicle has been in a collision you should produce a copy of the accident report.
You can register a change of vehicle or report your vehicle stolen using your online account. If you don't have log in details, use the permit query form to inform the Parking Control Office.

All permits, except visitor permits and temporary 1 month resident permits, can be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis for each full month still to run on the permit.
Please note that refunds are issued through the online account to the card that the payment was made with.
Postal applicants will be given a refund by cheque to the permit holder. See the relevant permit page for service fee charges.
You can also transfer a permit to another vehicle owned by the same party – there is a fee for this service.

Parking motorcycles Click to get info
Motorcycles don’t pay to park in Waltham Forest Council car parks and in on-street parking bays; or display permits, vouchers or Pay and Display tickets.
However, motorcycles can’t park in bays reserved for:
- the disabled
- car clubs
- market traders
- and emergency service vehicles
