Because of your health or age, you might not be able to carry out your repairs by yourself. If you can’t get a friend/ family/ contractor to help you, then you can ask us.

This is called a discretionary repair.

To get assessed, you’ll need to contact your housing services officer first. They’ll ask you some questions and carry out an assessment whether  a contractor can do out the work on your behalf.

To find out if you qualify, contact your local housing officer
