Once your initial application is received the council will then advise you of your SNN reference number and provide you with payment instructions.

At present, payment can be made on the website via debit/ credit card.

Alternatively, please contact us to make a BACS payment or request an invoice.

Do not make a payment until you receive your SNN reference number.

The Council aims to process individual applications within 10 working days and larger applications within 15 working days of receipt of payment.

Once approved, the new address will be officially allocated. Addresses are allocated on a monthly basis.

It is essential that you apply as soon as possible as utility companies will not provide service to properties that are not officially named with a postcode.
