St James’ Quarter Public Realm Design Guide Click to get info
The Council has prepared a Draft St James Quarter Public Realm Design Guide (Part A, Part B and Part C). This provides guidance for the enhancement of public areas in the St James Quarter area of Walthamstow Town Centre.
The Guide follows on from the New South Grove / St James Quarter Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), adopted in May 2017, to provide further detailed design guidance to implement the vision of the SPD in relation to public areas and local amenity.
It aims to improve the key north-south and east-west pedestrian and cycle links through the area and set out good design principles for public realm and links between sites.
A public consultation is being held between Monday 22 July 2019 and 5pm on Monday 30 September 2019.
Details of the proposals can be seen at the consultation events or online.
Comments can be made online.
